1. Overview
Most of what we sell, such as flights, hotels, cruises, transport and activities, is provided by independent suppliers who set their own cancellation and refund rules. This policy explains how those rules reach you, how to cancel or change a booking, and how and when refunds are paid.
2. Cancellation terms for your booking
The cancellation terms that apply to your booking are shown on the page before you pay and repeated in your confirmation. They state the dates by which you can cancel and the charge at each stage.
If the terms shown on your confirmation differ from a general description anywhere on our site, the terms on your confirmation apply.
3. How to cancel or change a booking
- Use Manage a booking on the website, or contact us by phone or email with your booking number.
- Tell us what you want to cancel or change, and for whom, if the booking has more than one traveller.
- We will confirm the charges, if any, and the refund due before we complete the cancellation, wherever the supplier allows us to.
Please contact us as early as you can. Charges generally increase as the travel date gets closer, and many suppliers apply a cut-off after which nothing is refundable.
4. What you may be charged
- The supplier's cancellation charge for the service, as shown in your terms.
- Non-refundable parts of the booking, such as certain fares, rooms, deposits, permits, and tickets already issued.
- Payment-gateway and bank charges that cannot be recovered.
- Our service or convenience fee, where the booking page said it is not refundable.
5. No-shows and late arrival
If you do not turn up for a service, arrive after the supplier's cut-off or leave early, the amount for that service is normally not refundable, unless the supplier agrees otherwise.
6. If we or a supplier cancel
If a supplier cancels or makes a major change to your trip, or if we cannot confirm a booking, we will offer you an alternative of similar value or a refund of the amount you paid for the part that was not delivered.
We are not responsible for further costs, such as separately booked flights or leave from work, except where the law requires it.
7. How refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the original payment method (card, UPI or bank) used for the booking.
- A refund is processed after the cancellation is confirmed and the supplier's refund, if any, has reached us. We then send it to your bank within 7 working days.
- Your bank or card issuer may take a few more working days to show the amount in your account.
- If a payment was taken but the booking failed, the amount is reversed automatically, usually within a few working days. If you do not see it, contact us with the payment reference.
8. Changing dates, names or details
Changes are subject to availability and to the supplier's rules, and may attract a fee and a difference in price. Name changes on airline tickets are often not allowed. Ask us before assuming a change is possible.
